Membership Benefits

Meetings, Events and Social Gatherings - RRVPA has an informational meeting for its members in the spring and a membership meeting along with its election of officers in the fall. The North and South Regions usually meet once every month for a luncheon or after-hours gathering. Legal Assistant Day and Law Day celebrations, meet-and-greet socials, holiday parties, fundraising, volunteering and collecting food and holiday gifts for the underprivileged are some of the other ways members gather and contribute to the community.

Employment Opportunities - RRVPA informs its members of paralegal-related job openings that it is made aware of through area employers and other members.

Continuing Education - RRVPA sponsors two annual seminars - typically a seminar in the spring and a seminar in the fall, providing general legal education benefits as well as continuing education credits required to maintain CLA/CP certification through NALA. Other educational events throughout the year include occasional workshops and speaker luncheons on topics of interest to paralegals and members of the legal community.

Newsletter - RRVPA's newsletter is published and distributed to its members two times a year. A special issue is published for the annual meeting and election of officers.
